Promethea Book One by Alan Moore & J.H. Williams

No, sorry, not good enough

More disappointment from Moore. It's really sad seeing someone who can be as good as Moore doing this kind of stuff, just ordinary middle-of-the-road superhero comics. Of course, since it is Moore writing, it is competently done but oh so soulless.

For the interested, this is one ofMoore's America's Best Comics titles, dealing with Promethea, an icon of imagination, represented by different women through the ages. But don't bother with this, not even as light entertainment, since it is obvious that Moore really doesn't care about the persons.
