The Freckled Shark by Kenneth Robeson

A Doc Savage novel

Well, not much to say. For those who don't know, Doc Savage was a pulp hero which in many ways was the model on whom Superman & Batman was later based. The novels are, quite frankly, really bad, but since they are pulp novels that is what one must expect. For light reading in the summer, only.

Oh, and this one deals with a corrupt Latin-American dictator extorting and torturing his wealthy citizens. And the first chapter was, surprise surprise, well written...

  • Late Doc Savage = only stun bullets in the guns
  • Doc asks for advice from his helpers!
